A short, experimental flash piece from Story a Day May called Entomophobia has been accepted and is due to be published in issue 15 of Gone Lawn Journal, coming out on July 1st. It's more of a short drabble, written in second person and in prose poetry style. Glad it found a home because pieces like that are harder to fit to a mag but come much more naturally to me.
Also, issue four and five of Pieces of Cake are up as of May 30th. This was a double issue release for spring and summer. The short poem/sentence (because it's really more of a sentence, honestly) "pretender" is up in issue four. Read it here.
I ended up taking a few weeks of May off from writing to focus on some other things, so unfortunately Story a Day May was not as fruitful as the name might suggest. I got a few good stories out of it, though, which is infinitely better than nothing.
